Managing Director

Mr. Raj Kumar Goel, the Managing Director of the Company, has rich experience in Steel Marketing and he has been Managing Director of the Company since its incorporation in 2007. He leads his dynamic team with perfect determination and commitment resulting in commissioning of various plants such as Sinter, MBF, SMS, RMS and also 6 MW captive Power Plant.
SLR started from ground level and due to his out of the box inspirational leadership and management qualities and the Plant reached a golden capacity of 0.3 million tonnes of alloy steel . His strong vision is to achieve 1.0 million tonnes per annum by the year 2022.
He has always believed in the quote "Every Cloud has Silver Lining” firming on the fact that never lose hope difficult times lead to best days.
He has also set up 33 MW capacity Hydro Plants in Uttarakhand State which are running successfully. He is on the Board of several other Group Companies;
Partners have identified him in the category “Leader in their Field” for his entrepreneurship quality and vast exposure in Corporate Finance and Planning, Investor Relations, Risk Management, Taxation Strategy; he is also lead facilitator for Group Companies. He is very keen in employee development and has been motivating continuously, their innovative and creative skills through various ways. He believes that SLR is at heights due his great TEAM.

Mr. Ambar Timblo

Mr. Ambar Timblo is the Managing Director of Fomento Resources.
Ambar’s initial schooling was at Sharda Mandir, Goa followed by his high school at Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi. He graduated in 1997from the London School of Economics (LSE), UK with a BSc in Economics.
Since graduation, Ambar joined Fomento Resources and is presently its Managing Director.
Fomento Group has interests in Mining, Mineral Processing, Logistics, Steel, Shipping, Energy, Hospitality and Media.
Ambar was a nationally ranked badminton player in his school and college days. He and his wife, Vinni of 18 years have two children, Adi and Sara.

Mr.-Apporva-Mishra

Mr. Apoorva Misra

Director

Mr.Apoorva Misra, 45 years, Ph.D, Accounting (Major) & Finance (Minor) At University of Rochester, Simon Business School. He has been in Finance field for more than 20 years and occupy various senior positions. He has rich experience in Treasury Management,
Capital Budgeting and allied financial services. He is associated with various Companies at the level of Director including M/s Fomento Group as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Kapil Rai

Director

Over two decades of Industry experience in areas of Technology, Manufacturing, Customer Success and Business Transformation. He has a Bachelors and Masters in Electrical Engineering along with an MBA (Arizona State University) in Management and Finance.

He has spent over 20 years in United States leading and building businesses in India, China, and Europe. He is a transformational leader who has consistently identified market opportunity and built high performing global teams. Prior to moving to India in 2021 he held the position of MD Allweiler Pumps, IMO Pumps and Leslie Valves. 

He is a Director and part of the leadership team in Fomento Resources responsible for businesses across Mining, Hospitality, Real Estate, Hydro Power and Steel verticals.

Developed number of super critical alloy steel for critical application to the delight level of OEM'S, He has published many technical papers on alloy steel making through different routes in national and international forums.

Mr. Rajat Goel

CFO

Mr. Rajat Goel,  Post-graduated as MBA Marketing . Energetic and enthusiastic young entrepreneur. He is in business from 2012. He has worked as Project Head for 4 years in our Power Division in commissioning of two hydro plants, Sarju 2 (12.6 MW) and Sarju 3 (10.5. MW), in Uttarakhand State. These two power plants have been working successfully because of his strong vision and team work.

Rajat Goel has inherited the glowing business sense and learning and teachings from his Father as a Mentor. He believes to learn in every hour of the day and also he strongly believes in the quote "Grow Through What You Go Through”.

He is a part of Senior Management Team and a key player in growth of the organization including supervision and Corporate functions of the Group.
